In addition to covering\nthe essentials of project management the participant will be prepared\nwith the knowledge necessary to sit for the CAPM exam.\nWho should apply? Candidates for the CAPM\ncredential contribute to projects as subject matter experts and team\nmembers. They may also serve as project sponsors, facilitators,\nliaisons or coordinators. Additionally, CAPM candidates are those\nwithout the requisite number of practitioner hours required to sit for\nthe PMP exam.\nWhat do CAPM candidates do? Candidates are\nresponsible for individual project tasks in their area of expertise\n(e.g., finance, marketing, legal, customer care, market research,\nfulfillment, processing).
