    Description of Presentation:

For PMO start-ups or continuous improvement efforts, addressing a standard project management methodology is a critical task.  In many organizations, agile methods exist in one or more areas, or are being applied across the enterprise. How does an agile methodology fit into an enterprise project management standard? This session will present a clear approach and examples for reconciling these distinct methods that will lead to success with all of PMO stakeholders. The key topics will be identifying all methods used, incorporating and governing a standard methodology using a hybrid model, and getting the right skills on board for success.

    Learning objectives:

    • To learn techniques for assessing agile methods in your organization and how to incorporate them into a standard project management methodology
    • To take away several success factors for implementing and governing multiple methodology approaches
    • To identify and staff the key roles needed in the organization and the PMO to support this diverse methodology approach
