Fundamental principles of leadership and project management can be found in a baseball team whose name had become synonymous with the word futility.  The Chicago Cubs held the record for the longest championship drought in major North American sports - 108 years!  The drought ended in 2016 with a victory in Game 7 of the World Series, but the climb out of the abyss actually started 8 years earlier.  We will unwrap the leadership and project management principles that turned the impossible dream into a reality.  We will also talk about common project management distractions like Billy Goats, Black Cats, and Fan Interference.  No prior baseball knowledge is required for this entertaining, informative, and motivating romp through Cubs history!
