TOPIC:  RESILIENCY

Join the Ithaca Branch to learn the six competencies that make up resiliency: self-awareness, self-regulation, optimism, mental agility, strength of character, and connection. Participants will learn a set of skills that will enhance their effectiveness and well-being by building their mental toughness. These skills will also develop your ability to understand the thoughts, emotions, and behaviors of yourself and others.

PRESENTER: DEBRA HOWELL

Debra Howell has over 20 years of experience providing strategic direction in all areas of information technology.  She thrives on leading and facilitating complex workplace and technology processes, developing talent from within, and collaborating with others to build the most effective computing environment.

She received her Masters of Industrial and Labor Relations degree from Cornell University in 2006 and is a certified PMI Project Management Professional (PMP) and a Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (MCSE). Debra has an extensive background in facilitation, organizational change, team building, and performance management.

Additionally, Debra served in the U.S. Army Reserves as a medic from 1993—2001 and is now an Office of the Secretary of Defense certified Master Trainer and a Master Resiliency Trainer.
