VIRTUAL: RISK MANAGEMENT WITH DR. REDMOND
TOPIC: PROJECT MANAGEMENT IN 2020 AND BEYOND
Project Management has gotten much more complicated in the last decade, even within the last five years. When project management processes were formally introduced in the 1980’s to the business world, business was less complex, without the types of project risks that occur today.
Many projects now have to conduct much more thorough risk assessments. Stakeholder management has expanded due to project Cyber Security concerns. Reference to some risks you can generalize in advance that there's a cause for concern. Issues are less predictable and can occur with no warning.
In earlier years a project manager was concerned with unrealistic deadlines, communication deficits, scope changes, resource competitions, etc. While these are still concerns, learning to better prepare for them as well as learning new implementation techniques will help you build a more capable and successful project.
In this webinar we will cover new techniques for project risk management that you may wish to implement. Especially if the products or service are sold overseas or developed overseas, as well as if any technology is involved.
