PRESENTER
Opal Alapat is the Vision Team Practice Lead at interRel Consulting, where she advocates for a fantastic set of eclectic leaders. Mrs. Alapat is in the technical world, where she has been bestowed the esteemed achievement of Oracle ACE Director by one of the largest companies in the world, Oracle Corporation. She has also authored/co-authored three technical books on Oracle software, and has been presenting at conferences on both professional development and technical topics for almost 20 years. She has played the role of project manager, technical architect, coder, developer, and coach. She regularly mentors up-and-coming leaders, is the conference chair of the third-largest Oracle user group conference in North America (ODTUG Kscope), enjoys social media, and blogs regularly. She has been public speaking since grade school and her passion is sharing wisdom on soft skills that will help project managers, leaders, and techie nerds lead, manage, and resolve conflict on the path to successful relationships and better team dynamics.
