With over 90% of all companies having resume scanning software, it's critical to know how to get past these scanners to beat out your competition so you can get your resume looked at by a live person. And with over 97% of all companies and recruiters looking for their people on LinkedIn, it's critical to have a pristine and optimized LinkedIn profile. 

At this PMI Rochester event, we will learn from a career consultant, recruiter and hiring manager how to format our resumes, optimize our LinkedIn profiles and other tips and strategies to increase our professional visibility, make the cut and land an interview.

The evening will begin with a presentation by Career Consultant, Fred Farnswoth, who will show us how to get our LinkedIn profiles optimized and how to brand ourselves on LinkedIn. He will also show us how to get past the resume scanning software that most companies use along with the do's and don'ts what to put on your resume and your resume format.

Following the presentation, Fred will join a recruiter and hiring manager for a panel discussion to answer your questions on increasing your visibility and likelihood to make the cut for an interview.

The panelists will then be available at separate areas for informal break-out sessions to answer questions and provide feedback on your resume or profile.
