Speaker:
Rebecca Joffrey is the Director of Digital Innovation & Strategy at Cornell University. She is responsible for advancing ongoing digital transformation by overseeing a campus-wide governance structure to align technology investments with the university’s mission and priorities. She also oversees the Project Management Office. Rebecca has been at Cornell for 10 years, leading multiple change and innovation efforts including the Cornell Student Experience Initiative, the implementation of Marketing Cloud, and a corporate engagement CRM initiative. She has learned the business of higher education—and its many competing business models—through roles at Dartmouth and Cornell in admissions, advising, career services, employer relations, faculty support, teaching, and enterprise IT. Her early career was spent in marketing at Nestle and as an MBA intern at American Express. She is also an author and entrepreneur and has an MBA from Dartmouth’s Tuck School of Business.
