November 7: The Story in Your Data
The amount of data we produce continues to increase by almost 25% annually. With that continued growth, our challenge continues to be gaining insight from the data and ultimately presenting it in a way that causes our audience to take action. In this seminar, you will learn how to extract the story from your data and how to present that story in a way that is easily understood by your audience. In addition to valuable principles and concepts, attendees will walk away with immediately actionable advice they can use in their very next presentation. November 21: Three Keys to a Persuasive Presentation
The ultimate goal of a presentation is to persuade an audience to take action. Aristotle, the Greek philosopher, proposed there are three components of a persuasive argument. 2000 years later, science has validated many of his claims. This interactive and engaging session teaches the participants how to apply the three components immediately in their presentations to persuade an audience to take decisive action. December 5: Death by PowerPoint: What a Horrible Way to Die
We’ve all been there, delivering a PowerPoint presentation that puts your audience to sleep. In this session, you will learn the importance of good slide design and how to address the most common problems with presentation graphics. Through many examples, you will learn how to turn boring, complex slides into simple yet powerful graphics that support you, the star of the presentation.
