BARB GLASSMAN
After having navigated the corporate world, Barb applied her experience and tenacity in establishing several small businesses in Rochester, NY. Her primary focus has been on developing strategic direction and problem solving to attain top line growth. Barb began her career as the first female graduate of the Electrical Engineering Technology curriculum at the State University of New York at Alfred. With her technical expertise and process skills in tow, Barb was set on a fast track as her Eastman Kodak career evolved into the development of adult education, sales and marketing. Concurrently, Barb worked behind the scenes at G-FORCE Collaborations, a boutique marketing firm. As part of Barb's 'pay-it-forward' commitment, she mentors professionals in transition and has a special affinity for young people struggling to navigate early adulthood. Barb also serves on multiple business and non-profit boards.
ROB SCHWARTING
After achieving the rank of colonel in the U.S. Army, Rob turned his public service career to government, college-level education and finance. Rob has served at virtually every level of an organization and has gained a reputation as a passionate transformational leader. Working with others, he helped create a major public waste management authority, transformed the culture of a large local government and several residential community associations, created two different economic development agencies, and guided several public and private organizations through critical change processes. Rob constantly seeks to define the “right thing,” and embraces the concepts of Servant Leadership and Emotional Intelligence in his study of effective leadership. As a strong proponent of experiential learning, he challenges participants to create and use the safe environment of seminars to improve their leadership.
