This talk explores a point of view on transformational IT change delivery from the trenches. Starting with a framework that outlines the making of a successful digital transformation for value delivery, the talk will focus on the technical dimension of change management.

Devaki Ginde is the Assistant Director of Strategic Portfolio Management (SPM) at Cornell University. She leads an IT portfolio strategy and performance management practice to drive informed and timely investment decisions in IT and digital innovation in support of the university’s mission and priorities.

In addition to leading SPM, Devaki manages the Cornell Experience Modernization Initiative (CEMI), a multi-year program to modernize Cornell's digital experience by focusing on how Cornell community members use technology and unifying and improving the systems used on all of Cornell’s campuses to support administrative services like human resources, finance, budget, student services, research, and institutional advancement.

Before Cornell, Devaki served in different IT leadership roles in higher education and corporate sectors. Devaki has been a long-standing member of PMI and a certified PMP for about 20 years. She has served on the board of PMI’s Ithaca chapter for the past two years.
