PMI ROCHESTER CHAPTER TRUSTEES
PMI Rochester Trustees are comprised of the chapter’s past presidents actively volunteering with the chapter. This position is looked to as having objective opinions on topics which are weighed against past experiences and long term future results. Trustees bring support to the current Board with their knowledge and PMI experience. We thank them for their continued support of PMI!
Theodore R. Boccuzzi, PMP
2002-2003
Theodore R. Boccuzzi, PMP, has over 30 years of capital, manufacturing, Information Technology and product development project experience serving as Portfolio Manager, Program Manager, Project Manager, Engineering Manager, Construction Manager, and Mechanical Design Leader supporting worldwide programs. He is the holder of three patents for work associated with web conveyance.
Mr. Boccuzzi provides consulting on all phases of project management to businesses in the United States. Specializing in areas such as project planning, project change control, earned value analysis, risk management, project management best practices, establishment of project management offices, and facilitate value engineering sessions. He has helped organizations implement project management methodologies and best practices that meet their specific organizational needs.
Mr. Boccuzzi is a graduate of the Rochester Institute of Technology and a member of the Project Management Institute, serving as President of the Rochester Chapter (2002–2003), as a member of PMI’s Ethics Review Committee (2010-2014), as Chair of PMI’s Ethics Review Committee (2015) and is currently serving on PMI’s Ethics Member Advisory Group. Mr. Boccuzzi has contributed to A Guide to the Project Management Body of Knowledge, Third Edition, and The PMBOK® Guide, Third Edition: An Overview of the Changes, Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3®), Second Edition, and AMA Handbook on Project Management, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th editions.

Albert Gubiotti, PMP, CSP
2007-2013
Al Gubiotti is the Vice President of Project Solvers of America, a project management training and consulting company. He currently teaches a Project Management Course on “Finance and Project Management”. He has been employed by Rochester BCBS, ITT Automotive, Western NY Computing Systems, Schlegel and Dollinger Corp. He has an extensive background as IT Manager, MIS Consultant, and Project Manager having installed manufacturing management and data collection for over 30 companies, increasing their capabilities to compete in an evolving marketplace. Most recently he was a Project Manager on Health Insurance Systems responsible for membership, claims, patient management, and mandated business systems.
Mr. Gubiotti was President of the PMI Rochester Chapter from 2007-2013. He served on the Fairport Public Library Community Planning Committee and the Rochester Board of the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children. He also served in the US ARAM Signal Corp as a 1LT from 1966-1972.
Mr. Gubiotti has his AAS in Business Management from SUNY Delhi and his BS in Business Administration from Bryant University, Rhode Island. He is a Certified Systems Profession (CSP) and Project Management Professional (PMP).
